Our Law Firm, represented by attorneys Benedetta Musco Carbonaro and Stefania Mihailà, has successfully represented FinecoBank in a dispute on written online contracts. The Supreme Court has upheld the decision made by the Court of Appeal of Bologna thus confirming the complete lawfulness of the contracts concluded online with a simple electronic signature, i.e. with access and authentication in the bank’s personal area, it being a perfectly legitimate and lawful procedure, compliant ratione temporis with the applicable legal framework according to which the document that was signed online through said procedure had fulfilled the legal requirement of being made in writing.
