Luca Zitiello
Ha cominciato ad occuparsi di diritto del mercato finanziario più di 30 anni fa quando quell’area del diritto non aveva ancora una sua piena autonomia. Quest’approccio pioneristico l’ha posto nella condizione privilegiata e irripetibile di vivere l’evoluzione normativa, le nuove pratiche di mercato, così da mettere a frutto la competenza acquisita in ambito regolamentare nel contenzioso bancario. Avendo sempre creduto nella forte interazione fra il bancario, il finanziario e assicurativo, ha delineato l’evoluzione dello Studio sull’ottimizzazione delle esperienze nei singoli comparti per una piena visione d’insieme.
Fabio Coco
Si occupa prevalentemente di consulenza stragiudiziale e di attività giudiziale in materia regolamentare bancaria, assicurativa e finanziaria, con una particolare esperienza in tematiche di natura fintech. Assiste, inoltre, la clientela nazionale e internazionale nei rapporti con le autorità di vigilanza, in progetti di esternalizzazione e digitalizzazione dei servizi, nonché nell’ambito di operazioni di cessione di crediti e di riorganizzazione operativa. Molto attivo nella pareristica e nell’adeguamento della contrattualistica e della documentazione informativa degli intermediari a seguito di novità legislative o regolamentari nei settori di riferimento. Collabora con diverse società di formazione, anche in qualità di relatore in convegni e webinar sulle più importanti novità normative.
Francesco Mocci
Si occupa di diritto bancario e dei mercati finanziari, fornendo consulenza agli intermediari in ogni aspetto del loro business, dalla fase di set up alle operazioni straordinarie e all’assistenza day to day (esame di fattispecie particolari, contrattualistica, lancio di nuovi prodotti). Ha inoltre maturato una notevole esperienza nel contenzioso specialistico e ha affiancato gli intermediari in importanti procedimenti giudiziari e sanzionatori avanti alla magistratura, agli arbitri e alle autorità di vigilanza. Pubblica regolarmente articoli e contributi in materia di diritto bancario e dei mercati finanziari ed è relatore in convegni, corsi di formazione e webinar.
Benedetta Musco Carbonaro
Si occupa da sempre di contenzioso ed, in particolare, di tutte le aree di litigation in cui lo Studio opera, ossia quello tipicamente bancario, quello relativo alla prestazione dei servizi di investimento, quello occasionato da illeciti di consulenti finanziari o dipendenti, nonché quello assicurativo. Ha maturato una vasta e consolidata esperienza nel settore di riferimento, soprattutto in virtù della forte interazione fra il bancario, il finanziario e assicurativo che da sempre caratterizza lo Studio, anche nell’ambito del contenzioso.
Luca Zitiello
Luca started to practice in financial markets law more than 30 years ago when such practice was still in its early stages. Thanks to his pioneering approach, Luca has benefited from a unique and privileged position to develop valuable competence and experience in regulatory and financial markets law practices. This eventually allowed him to exploit the competences and experience thus acquired in the regulatory field also in early stages of banking/regulatory litigation. Since the foundation of the firm, Luca has always believed in a close interaction between the banking, financial markets and insurance law practice areas as well as in the synergies arising from the parallel development of such practices. Due to the increasing specialization of the sectors, eventually he has shaped the law firm by creating departments ad hoc that each follow a specific sector, keeping at the same time the bigger picture of the common regulatory framework. Luca often comments on new pieces of financial legislation and regulatory changes by writing articles and opinions for major Italian business newspapers and appearing on media channels specialized in business and finance.
Fabio Coco
Fabio’s practice focuses primarily on advising Italian banks, financial and insurance companies on complex financial regulatory matters. He also assists domestic and foreign financial clients in dealing with Italian regulators, outsourcing projects and service digitalization, as well as in regulatory issues of fintech transactions, operational reorganizations and loans/portfolios assignments. He has a broad experience in drafting complex regulatory advice and opinions, updating financial intermediaries’ agreements and corporate documents to comply with legislative or regulatory changes in the relevant sectors. He also often represents financial clients in court litigations involving complex financial regulatory issues. He is a regular speaker at conferences and webinars involving his areas of practice and a commentator of new pieces of financial/banking legislation and regulatory changes.
Francesco Mocci
Francesco’s practice focuses primarily on banking and financial markets law practice areas. He regularly advises financial intermediaries in all aspects of their business, from the set-up stage to extraordinary transactions and day-to-day assistance (including review of complex legal issues, contracts, updating, new product launches). He has also gained considerable experience in financial litigation and has represented intermediaries in high-profile proceedings before Italian courts, arbitrators and regulators. He regularly publishes articles and contributions on banking and financial markets law and is a regular speaker at conferences, training courses and webinars.
Benedetta Musco Carbonaro
Benedetta’s practice focuses on financial, banking and insurance litigations, including court proceedings relating to the provision of investment services and products, as well as cases concerning criminal liability of financial advisors or employees. Benedetta leads the litigation team of the firm and has gained extensive and consolidated experience also in the regulatory fields, especially by virtue of the strong correlation between banking, finance and insurance regulatory practice that has always characterized the firm.

In 2018 the Milan office opens both a metaphorical and the actual door to its new venue in Corso Europa (walking distance from the famous “Duomo square”). The 2019-2021 years have been characterized by continuous growth and innovation, including the creation of specific focus teams tackling important issues and topics of the financial sector (e.g. ESG, Fintech and consumer credit).
