AML updates – The Bank of Italy’s provisions, the new EBA Guidelines and the recommendations concerning the Italian Recovery and Resilience Plan (“PNRR”) – 13 October 2022 – Organized by Paradigma – Speakers: Fabio Coco and Francesco Donadei – Mr Fabio Coco spoke about the specific provisions on remote customer due diligence with particular reference to the possibilities that the use of digital identity may provide; furthermore, the new European Commission’s AML Package and the EBA’s consultation on its Guidelines on the use of remote customer onboarding solutions were discussed and analyzed. Mr Francesco Donadei spoke about the storage of data and information pursuant to the Bank of Italy’s provision of 24 March 2020.
