MiFID II – ESMA and Consob’s operational updates and prospects for reforms – 11 and 12 April 2022 – Organized by Paradigma – Speakers: Francesco Mocci and Fabio Coco – 11 April – Mr Francesco Mocci spoke on ex-post reporting, also with reference to the recent updates contained in ESMA’s Q&A , to the “Quick Fix” Directive, to the potential novelties that the MiFID II review might bring, and to the guidelines on the reporting of costs and charges issued by Assoreti and Assogestioni.
Mr Lorenzo Macchia spoke about inducements, also with reference to ESMA’s updated Q&A of 29 March 2021 and on possible novelties that the MiFID II review might bring – 12 April – Mr Fabio Coco spoke on the subject of tech developments in the financial sector with particular reference to the proposed MiCA Regulation on crypto-assets, utility tokens, e-money tokens and stablecoins, also in the light of the new text currently being under examination by the European Parliament.
