Our Fabio Coco illustrated that, faced with the promise of fast money without any hassle, it is impossible to distinguish financial investments from actual gambling. In this regard, ongoing collaboration between the Italian Competition Authority and the Consob is paramount. However, it is obvious that the valuable effort put in place by the aforementioned authorities in preventing fraud and safeguarding clients from scams is rendered null by clients that decide to entrust their savings to any subject other than authorized intermediaries.
