AML updates – The Bank of Italy’s provisions, V Directive, recent actions and reform prospects – 23 February 2022 – Organized by Paradigma – Speakers: Fabio Coco and Francesco Donadei – Fabio Coco spoke on the specific provisions on remote customer due diligence with particular reference to the Bank of Italy’s provision of 30 July 2019, to the possible use of digital identity with this regard, to the novelties contained in the European Commission’s AML package and to EBA’s public consultation on its guidelines on the use of remote customer onboarding. Francesco Donadei spoke on the Bank of Italy’s provision of 24 March 2020 on the retention of data and information and on the novelties contained in the European Commission’s AML package with particular reference to data retention.
